Well, Trudy (and Jeff), there are some of our list who read the posts off
of the digests, and I thought you might want to see how this looks to
them. Quoted below is how your post and Jeff's original post appeared in
the digest and for those who happen to be reading it through the website.

As you can see, using HTML causes the post to be included twice in the
digests, the second time having all the HTML encodings. This makes those
digests very bulky and difficult to read. Also, where the Hebrew is
written, equivalent keystokes appear instead, and, unless one has the
keychart for the particular font that was used in the original message, it
is unintelligible. These are the main reasons why the list typically uses
Plain Text for formatting, and the transcription scheme described at
http://www.ibiblio.org/bhebrew/ for transliterating the text.
