- Subject: a tiberian weak spot?
- Date: Thu, 9 Dec 1999 07:27:42 -0500 (EST)
a method question in the study of hebrew grammar and tiberian reading.
observation 1: large proportion of G-stem vs D-stem participles in bible
observation 2: in cons. text, G vs D only differs in participle
question: is it not possible G-stem also widespread, but reading tradition
enforcing uniformity to extent possible? what would that mean generally,
if so?

I speak English but I think in French.... Some day I'll take French
lessons to find out what the heck I'm thinking.
