I lost (rm -rf the directory containing) the list of spells that should be
added to the basesystem. But, from what I remember:

gawk: awk is used in some of the sorcery modules

gcc: i'm assuming this should probably be included, or maybe make
gcc "provides compiler" and basesystem could "requires compiler"

procps: this should either be added to basesystem, or sorcery should be
modified to use /proc instead; there was a bug for this, but I
closed it after verifying that procps is installed by default

sh-utils: would be taken care of if coreutils gets added into basesystem

util-linux: mount, umount, renice and possibly other programs are used
in some of the sorcery modules

I'll file a bug for these when I get a chance.
