Thanks yalls.

I'm super busy these next few days - can someone else please write Toby
and ask him for a letter of reference? That would be extremely helpful.

I am attaching the grant application so you can all check it out and send
it to Toby if he would like to see it. You can also visit the Lindbergh
Foundation's website at http://www.lindberghfoundation.org/grants/ to
check their mission statement, etc.

Deadline for a letter from Toby (would be considered a "Supporting
Material") is due June 10th, and we/he would need to send 8 copies to

The Charles A. and Anne Morrow Lindbergh Foundation
2150 Third Avenue North, Suite 310
Anoka, MN 55303-2200

(To make Toby's job easier, I would have him email his letter to you -
whoever corresponds with him - and you print 8 copies and send it to the
Lindbergh Foundation yourself.)

Please.

gracias,
*Stephanie

p.s. From the grant application-
SUPPORTING MATERIALS (optional): A limited amount of material in support
of your project (articles, letters from collaborators/collaborating
institutions, photographs, etc.) may be included as part of your
application. Eight (8) copies are required for our review process. These
materials cannot be returned.

howdy yalls

I am scrambling to finish this grant application today - the last day I
have access to a printer. Lawrence, Paula, and Richard - can you *
please* send me your resume/CV? Soooooon.

And I'll get back to you about domain names and all that good stuff in
the next couple of days.

I think I am a master internet composter because I still can't figure out
how to do otherwise... come to think of it, perhaps we can make
functions on our application mimic gardening functions (compost instead
of delete, harvest instead of select) hmm... who knows

ok back to this application.

peace
*Stephanie

The Lindbergh application asks for supporting materials. John mentioned
the possibility of:

"Sounds like good ideas - maybe a post to permaculture and related
listservs about the project, asking if it would be useful and what people
would want - that might generate some responses that could be used as
feedback.

I bet Toby Hemenway (for one example, as the author of a highly relevant
book by a non-trivial publisher with non-trivial sales) would be a
"collaborator" or at least a provider of something in writing in support
of the project. Who else can we ask to do something similar?"

Can anyone help me out here? Either by finding relevant posts, or
sending me Toby's contact information? Please?

Thanks,
*Stephanie

Count on me to (on an ongoing, open-ended basis) to be a donor of
domain(s), my time: Web resources: my own, interface with ibiblio for use
of theirs,
i.e. websites, wikis, weblogs and mailing lists (things that I know how
to do as opposed
to actual programming), general help with the project, participation in
the lists and
submission of content: text-based material and photography, digital
stills, video and sound
recordings, creation of CD's and DVD's using the aforementioned content,
in short: content provider.
