IME it isn't unusual for ATV classes to be offered at a larger SAR
conference. Checking with various conference organizers should turn up names
and contact information for "ATV in SAR" class instructors from prior
conferences ... and those instructors might be available to provide
training, or at least share some written material from their ATV class.

I'd also check with the local shops that sell off-roads like the ATV. Odds
are they can connect you with locals who train / compete / teach or have
worthwhile experience to share. They wouldn't have the SAR application
perspective, but should be able to address driving skills, various
equipment, safety and maintenance issues, transport options, etc.

People should also be aware of the laws in their area regarding off-road
vehicles, legal rider attire, etc. And in some search areas (like a National
Park) that off-road wheeled vehicle may be banned.
