Brooke, where in Kansas are you? We have been thinking of moving back to
Kansas (lived there when hubby was in the Air Force) but since we've retired
We have a wonderful setup where we are now for market gardening but would
really like to get closer to our kids, who are in Wichita.

Good luck with your business.

Pat

Hi-my name is Brooke--from Kansas. I am a fairly novice gardener who just
last year did my first Farmer's Market. I mainly took herbs and herbal
products; soaps, eye masks, bath things, the usual herbal creations. This
year I plan to add in a few vegetables and edible flowers along with the
herbs...my question is how to go about getting pricing for my wares so that
I might add clients this year. I have tried to get help through our county
extension office, the dept of agriculture and several other places I can't
recall off the top of my head, and so far haven't been able to find the
elusive price list. Is there a secret that I don't know about? Also if
anyone has any good book recommendations on how to get started in this
business, I'd love to hear what they are!
Thanks for letting me lurk and learn!
Brooke
