I installed this HP Color LaserJet 3700 on a little Jetdirect for a client
yesterday. It prints faster than I lick stamps and address envelopes. I
wonder what the ramifications would be to invest in an in-house solution
versus to pay for printing of 6x9 postcards every time a change need be
made? The thing printed on plain paper and looked like a photograph with
matte finish.

Does anyone have experience running cardstock through printers for small
runs of, say, 25 at a time? I surely would like to hear pros/cons from
been-there-done-that's. It is a lot of $$$ either way. Despite having a
couple of part timers in the technical domain, I am still basically a one
person operation and don't have $$$ to throw around.

What's the best investment?

Regards,

Jim
