I've always thought that would be a good idea, but before I get there,
the house ought to be rewired lest it burn down. And then, I need new
windows. Right now, with winds up to 45 mph (that's what NOAA says,
but I think the 45 mph is pretty much what is blowing out there),
there's a lot of fresh air coming through the windows (not all bad --
this is a three-brick thick house, which makes it likely to be high in
radon -- but with all this wind, the radon daughters, the ones that
kill you, don't last long inside).

My sister Marcia has suggested that I get a trailer I can live in in
the winter. At least it would be insulated. She has a point.

It's a pity that one has either time or money.
