Hey Bev,

I'm sorry for your bad news as I know a new well is very expensive, however
I'm thrilled for your wonderful news. And, if I recall correctly, you will
have a new first grand baby to hold later this month, which will be more
good news for you both. New babies are always sweet, even if you would have
preferred them to come along a few years later. I imagine it must be amazing
to hold your children's children.

Our own well supply is lessening but we're not to the point you are...yet.
We're crossing our fingers and hoping for more 'weather'.

We were in GA over Thanksgiving, visiting my sister & brother and their
families in Gainesville. It rained while we were there for several hours. I
hope you received some. Lake Lanier looked pretty pitiful, lost count of how
many boats and docks that were high and dry.

Interesting how life's experiences give meaning to long-time old-fashioned
terms like 'high and dry' and 'make hay while the sun shines', etc.

Lisa
