One problem is that other people won't be able to quote anything from the scientific data, except through fair use. That won't be apparent.
 
Perhaps we could include something that allows other people to post a snippet of a CC-ND work only if a direct link to the full original is included.
 
And the snippet can't be mixed with anything or made to appear as if part of any work. It could only be used as a preview that links to the original.
