After you have booted Bl3 you can add these other modules from another floppy disk. If BL3 included more of them on the original floppy disks, it would then occupy more RAM and not be usable on systems with very little RAM unless the user, after booting, deleted unused things. I have been able to run it (slowly, loop version) in 3MB RAM.

Have you tried BL2? It includes more modules but not X.

I made some tests with maximum compression. Results sorted by size Based on
these, 1.44 could contain more few essential modules like e100 / eepro100
and other things.

That *.lzop was included because I wanted to see how an algorithm
optimized for speed would do.

So, How would I make BL3 use rzip during unpacking the disk2?
