singer-songwriter works that formula for all it's worth on this pleasantly
compelling outing. On Monitor Records.

KITTY WELLS AND JEAN SHEPARD on Hell or High Water, Sunday 1 p.m.
This week we will present the music of Kitty Wells and Jean Shepard,
country music stars of the 1950s. Wells is best known for her 1952 hit
"It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels," while Bakersfield native Jean
Shepard had her first Top Ten hit in 1953 with "A Dear John Letter." Both
women then recorded extensively over the next two decades.

AUGUSTUS PABLO, "In Fine Style" on the Inside Track, Monday 9 p.m.
