GAMELAN ENSEMBLE INTERVIEW, Wednesday 8 p.m.
Host Ellie will interview director Sarah Weiss and other members of UNC's gamelan ensemble, which performs Friday evening at 8 p.m. in Hill Hall. The program will also feature examples of gamelan music, which is used to accompany Indonesian ceremonies and performances. For more information on the concert, see http://www.unc.edu/depts/music.

"INTO THE INFINITY" on the Thursday Night Feature, Thursday 9 p.m.-midnight
Please don your space suits Thursday evening as DJ Fred guides the audience on a tour of soundscapes collected from the late '70s and early '80s. The tilt will be psychedelic and the songs will be long, exploring key artists on both sides of the ocean. We'll take a look into the roots of ambience that influences much of the music we celebrate today. So please tune in as we broadcast "Into the Infinity."

FINGERSTYLE GUITAR on Hell or High Water, Sunday 1-2 p.m.
This week's "Hell or High Water" will showcase fingerstyle guitar. Featured artists will include Rev. Gary Davis, Elizabeth Cotton and John Fahey.

A discussion of THE RED CROSS BLOOD SCANDAL on Northern Hemisphere
Live, Sunday 5-7 pm.
This week, host Andrea will lead a discussion of the Red Cross blood scandal. Judith Reitman, a UNC professor who has written a book on the subject, will appear as a guest on the show. Listeners are invited to call in and participate.
