Hi Wheatsville!
I am pleased to remind you that our first ever Third Thursday event will be taking place tomorrow (Thurs. April 21st) from 6-10 pm. Merchants up and down Guadalupe (from 23rd-38th st.) will be hosting fun activities like music, dancing, food, and other festivities. Wheastsville and In-Step will be hosting our event in our north parking lot near the street. We'll have live music starting at 6:45 with the PolkaDillos (a fun polka ensemble) and at 8pm with Herb Pharm, a cool blues band featuring all Wheatsville staff!
Wheatsville has invited local friends Mary Louise Butters Brownies, P/2 Organics, and White Mountain Foods to come and sample their delicious local food. The Wheatsville deli will be outside, too offering up convenient snacks to fuel your fun on the Drag all night. Wheatsville will also be giving out St. Arnold's Root Beer (while supplies last).
The Austin Independent Business Alliance will be honoring council members Daryl Slusher and Betty Dunkerley for their work for independent business on the city council and in particular their help in creating local IBIZ districts throughout the city. Guadalupe is the first of these IBIZ zones. Come out and say hello to your council members at 7:15 in front of Wheatsville.
We will have extra bike racks at the Yellow Bike Project in our parking lot and free rides are available up and down Guadalupe on the Duck from Austin Duck Adventures.
Duck Stops Heading North:
24th at San Antonio at Whole Earth Provision Co.
31st & Guadalupe at Wheatsville Co-op
Duck Stops Heading South:

26th & Guadalupe at Kerbey Lane Café
So, come out if you can for this fun event! In addition to the activities at Wheatsville you will find DJs spinning records at Avant Salon and Cream Vintage as well as Leggs Diamond. Free dance lessons from Movin' Easy in the 4 Sons Cleaners spot on 30th and Guadalupe. Foodheads at 34th (a block or two west of Guadalupe) will have two bands, first up is Melissa Greener at 7:00 and Eggbo will be playing at 8:30 until 9:30.
Two non-Wheatsville events that I thought you would be interested in learning about include:
