First time poster here, but I have a quick question (survey).

I have a Linksys wireless card using the Broadcom chipset, and unfortunately I have been having a lot of trouble trying to get it connected with the university wireless network. Works when booting into Windows, but not when on linux. You'd think a company that open sources it's router hardware for linux would make a linux wireless card... Nope!

Anyway, just bought a Netgear, because some of them are known to have the PrismGt chipset. Well, wouldn't you know it, I got one that Marvel which also isn't supported well. FYI, I'm getting my information from here:

Here's the million dollar question, what the heck are people out here using? I don't have a CCI machine, and last time I looked into what the bookstore sold it seemed overpriced and outdated. I'm looking to spend around $50, but I'm willing to go higher to keep my sanity! If you have one that works, and you don't need it any more, I'd also be interested in buying it off you as well.

Thanks,
Brian
