Joly is being very modest - "During punk rock I made
badges, and did some other printing." Better Badges,
off the Portobello Road in London, was an incredible
treasure trove and production factory of badges and
fanzines. In 1980/81 16 year old me used to drop by to
pick up zines and badges and chat to Joly.....it was
an incredible rabbit warren of an operation that I
still remember fondly nearly 30 years on
