what's the vibe on this weird british band the cardiacs? never heard of
them in my life until yesterday, but i'm finding their music, at the very
least, somewhat interesting. apparently they go back as far as 1977 and
they have been pretty much totally ignored ever since, even in the
underground. it sounds like some bizarre mix of prog
fantasy/bombast/complexity filtered through a rough hewn post-punk
aesthetic . . . please let me know if anybody has an opinion on this
band.
