It doesn't check other mirrors at all.
I updated rox locally to a new version, released some days ago and
belnet still doesn't have it. The summon just failed for it.
But even if fallback to other mirrors is working, i had the problem with
tarballs not available on belnet more than 5 times in the last days, i
think the belnet mirror should definitely not be the first one on the
sourceforge mirrors list anymore.

Well, I'm not sure, as I have SOURCEFORGEMIRROR (or some such) set to
belnet in /etc/sorcery/config (or local/config). I changed it to telia
(US) just to get around the problem for now. I don't believe sorcery
actually looks in the mirrors/SOURCEFORGE (or any other) file for mirrors
to use netselect on, it just uses whatever is the default (belnet, IIRC).
