If I'd seen this about 2-3 weeks ago I would have said no way. I ran
into a problem right after installing nptl than while using the 2.6.1
kernel that seemed to kill my system without mercy. However, since I was
never able to prove that it WAS nptl I can't say that now. Things just
started working all of a sudden and have been running flawlessly ever
since than (go figure).
