You should probably take a look at scribbler. It brings an end to having
to swap grimories and put spells on hold by creating a personal grimoire
at the highest priority. You have scribber add the spells to your
personal grimoire that would otherwise mess up.

Creating sub spells creates a whole new set of questions, and although
quite possible, adds a lot of complexity to sorcery. It sounds like a
nice solution, until you start looking at what would need to change...
basicly all of the dependancy stuff, the gaze stuff, libgrimoire, much
of libsorcery, ... That's why we go with the codex method, it was a
clean, simple solution... a tradeoff between useability and writability
;)
