Always a good idea, when possible. :)

Also keep in mind that e-mail is an emotionless medium, so it's hard to tell
/how/ the person was trying to say it. Nonetheless, we should all try to be
polite when we post to the list and try to keep discussions constructive (or
at
least fun ;)).

No, that's not what I was trying to say (sorry if that's the impression you
received). What I meant was that if you could write up the fix, that would
expediate the bug being closed, but it was not a requisite. I'm sure someone
(perhaps our chat guru once he has time again) will have time to get around to
it, but we do have quite a few bugs open (almost 400 between all the teams).
:(

Bug reports, testing, documentation, etc. are all valuable additions. Just
having users who say "Hey, this is broken on system foo with packages bar and
doo!" is valuable, as sometimes we may never find out on our own.

It was valuable, don't take what I said as saying (heh) it wasn't. See note
above.

If anyone ever feels as though they are being hindered in anything, say it!
Don't hold back, we need to know these things if they need to be fixed, or
they'll stay as they are (not saying anything needs to be fixed now, but just
in general). If you don't feel you can say it on the list, that's what
Schabell
and myself are for, send it to us and we'll see about taking care of it, if
warrented.

Remember, this is supposed to be enjoyable for everyone. :)
