I might be over simplifying it but wouldn't rebuilding them only be
"beneficial" if the zlib version changed ?
They would continue to "work" perfectly (being statically linked) without
rebuilding and at some later stage when their spell was updated they would
get rebuilt too ?
Maybe this is linked to sorcery not ordering depends if the spell is already
installed and to us needing another trigger "on_version" that only recasts
the target if the trigger's version changed?
Now a sorcery rebuild will rebuild all of the following twice due to zlib
triggers
"abiword bcrypt cinepaint espgs gd gdk-pixbuf ghostscript gnome-libs
gnulpr gtktalog hpoj imlib imlib2 kmyfirewall libgsf libmng libpng
openssh openvrml partimage povray teTeX tightvnc transfig xemacs
xfig xfree86 xscreensaver xzgv zgv"
which is quite a few hours of compiling especially with xfree86 in the list.
It understand ordering depends on installed spells will be a performance hit
but if it can remove multiple casts from the queue and ensure triggers are
efficiently used I would consider it a fair trade off.
Anyone ???
