I realised the other day that all the triggers on zlib and the POST_INSTALL (
i recently removed it) was all due to the last release of zlib having that
security flaw.
18 months is a long time for someone using a source distro to need that
feature so i removed it.
THe other members of the "conspiracy" agreed with this, but obviously it can
be reverted if any one felt it was still needed.
My real question is do all those other spells still need triggers ?
The ones with triggers are statically linked which was bad with the flawed
version, but not bad normally.
The reason i want to remove them is that we have a lot of triggers. It is
possible that some of them aren't needed and we could speed up system
rebuilds by not having spells cast multiple times by triggers.
