It may solve some problems, but it can also cause problems, that's why it's
still in devel, some of us have had problems with it, while others have had
success.

Once we have anonymous CVS (and I believe there was a link earlier about
anonymous Perforce access), anyone whom wants to can use packages from devel,
even though we've warned them. We are working on it, we just want to 'guide'
people into not using test unless they are:
1) A developer, and so has access to the devel grimoire (and knows how to get
there easily)
2) A user who's willing to spend the effort to get to something they shouldn't
be using
If they meet these criteria, they are welcome to use the devel grimoire.
If there is sufficient reason to pull something pre-final (such as xfree86
4.9.xx) into test, we'd like to hear it, but xfree86 4.3 has been working
fine,
otherwise what have you been using?
