Jonathan,

There is a way to do what you want. It's exactly the way I want to work with
SMGL too...

What I've done is to set up a grimoire tarball that contains symlinks to
spells in the other grimoires. Then I scribe add this grimoire (using a file:
url) and make sure it's at the top of the grimoire index.

Codex Listing
-------------

[0] : personal: /var/lib/sorcery/codex/personal
[1] : stable : /var/lib/sorcery/codex/stable
[2] : test : /var/lib/sorcery/codex/test
[3] : devel : /var/lib/sorcery/codex/devel

Where the "personal" grimoire just contains symlinks to the spells in
test/devel that I want to use instead of the default versions in stable.

Hope that helps.

Tony
