I haven't tried it, but I might if I find the time. If anyone else tries
it, please report back your experience and which of those that depend on
tcl work/don't work with the update.

Hi All,
First of all, a miracle of successful build of j2sdk spell is upon me,
I'm happy to thank everyone who made it possible. Thank you!
Another good news is that on a [2GB RAM + 1MB] swap server it compiles
with TMPFS=on just fine.
I also have to thank everyone involved in the java section creation. I
tried only ant so far, and had to upgrade it to 1.5.3 'cause they
flushed 1.5.2 source off the site.
Now the questions. Why does ant have a complete install log including
/opt/ant directories, and j2sdk does not? Consequently, images in
/var/cache/sorcery contain complete ant, but only five or so files of
j2sdk. I was planning to compile j2sdk on this fat server of mine and
then copy everything over to my other system(s), but it's not trivial
anymore :-!. Is this because of the way j2sdk's build process is organized?
Another thing, I believe that ant's documentation is installed
redundantly into /usr and /opt. Shouldn't we only keep one instance
(it's a lot of files, mind you).
Finally, I've just looked at j2sdk/BUILD, and it has the following
command chain at the end: a && b && c || d. This is wrong, don't do
that. Entire premise of having && after every command is that it'd fail,
sorcery will take over right away. If one uses || in this chain, one
gets control instead, in the "d" command above. Use "if" in all such
cases, please!
Anyway, many thanks!
Sergey.
