It will mess things up. Sorcery will think that mtx is installed when it
is actualy M-Tx that is. When rebuilding, sorcery will cast the new mtx,
not what it was originaly. It's possible to add a chunk of code to the
sorcery update stuff to have it check if you have the old mtx and change
the package and depends and log files and suff so that it reflects the
new name (or just dispel and cast it). This check would have to be
removed from the sorcery code eventualy... I don't know how long would
be good.
Or perhaps just a large note on update for the next month...
Ryan, any thoughts on what sort of protocol we should follow for things
like this?
