So if someone could file bugs for all of the scripts that 'need' the smgl-
prefix removed (and have them depend on this bug to be tracked) we can have
the
packages use the package-provided name (granted it doesn't conflict) and
'reserve' the smgl- prefix for SMGL-specific init scripts (would that mean we
need to rename all the init.d scripts?).
My only issues with doing this (though I don't really care what the scripts
names are as they're easy to look up) are:
* Renaming scripts will cause more work for packages to remember the prior
names' settings
* Renaming scripts may break other people's custom scripts that rely on a
name
* Not using LANANNA means there's yet another standard that we're not
following (even if they're 'dropping the ball' we should work with them to fix
that rather than around them).
