Just posting to say goodbye, really. It's been fun, it's been frustrating, it's been hairy, but I can't say it's been worth it. I wish I could, but Linux maintenance makes me feel like I'm losing an epic battle of fate with a _treadmill_. I'm abandoning general Linux and unix hackery in favour of fields where I can get more results for my efforts. It has been good 'meeting' so many of you in IRC. The chats were usually fun. :)
Fair winds, fly safe, and have fun, as the pixies say. Well, they don't actually, I just made that up, but best wishes to all, and may you never find yourselves on a treadmill going faster than you can keep up with.
Yes, I'm in a light-hearted mood. Getting off a treadmill can do that. :)
