Updated stable in my vm and updated to stable-rc-0.37 and completed a
rebuild without any major issues.

I am seeing something strange with gcc/g++ in that during the rebuild I
got the message removing dependencies of gcc or g++, and at the
completion of the rebuild I got the message about problems with those
two spells. But the activity log shows that both gcc and g++ completed
successfully during the rebuild. Not sure what is going on. Need to
look at it more.
