basically, yes, that's the principle of distributed systems, but they
can be more or less automated with push/pull commands.

i've been talking to the bzr channel for a while now, apparently the
directory access control would be a _huge_ problem too.

i really think we should stop wanting our grimoire repository to be
distributed too. we've no reason to want a distributed system for our
gimoire, we're not going to use it in a distributed way, and distributed
systems i'm looking at are just not good at being used centralized (hey,
maybe that's because they're weren't designed for it???)

anyway, continuing my gathering and consolidating of info on scm's...
