- Subject: [SM-Discuss] MySQL 5.0
- Date: Thu, 10 Nov 2005 16:58:01 -0800
I was wondering since on the http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/ site mysql 5.0 is 'recommended' over mysql 4.1, so why was it that devel and test still default to using 4.1?
and another thing, I don't know if this is made by default but there's another storage engine available with mysql 5.0
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/federated-storage-engine.html
and also why is building the InnoDB engine still defaulted to no?
