I had the problem yesterday, doing a cast --queue. The issue has been glibc
casted twice, because of a TRIGGER in glibc-kernel-headers. Well and I don't
know why, but glibc failed to cast the second time. I was able to reproduce
it later [0].
So if you have the same problem than me, you will need to untar a previous
working glibc in /var/cache/sorcery, and also, maybe util-linux since it is
triggered by glibc. After that you need to do a ldconfig. But if you have the
same problem as me, you can not chroot. However you can do a

ldconfig -r myroot/

Or, as swoolley suggested, you can also boot with the following options
init=/sbin/ldconfig, that should work too.

I hope that can help you.
