Well, personnaly, I use 6629 (I've got a GeForceFX so no problem) and kernel
2.6.10 with a customized nvidia_driver spell, using patches from :

http://www.minion.de/files/1.0-6629/

If anyone is interested, I can obviously give my spell to him ;-)
