Not true. glibc doesn't use those headers at all, it builds against theThe kernel headers that applications use need to be the kernel headers that glibc is compiled against. I had thought that the glibc-kernel-headers was created so that this could be possible, as per bug 3771 (http://bugs.sourcemage.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3771).
real kernel headers. glibc-kernel-headers is only there so userspace
does have some headers that don't break everything like the real kernel
headers do.
Hope the stuff written there makes a bit of sense...
