I suppose it has, not during any time I was with the project, but I'll
take your word for it. My view is that if I can do anything that will
avoid having umpteen broken "stable" releases in a short period of time
then I'll do it.

Our user base is small enough, and I'm going to do everything in my power
to keep it from getting smaller due to sorcery instability.

My number 1 goal from the start has been to restore users faith in
stable sorcery releases, and if I cant get anyone to test devel sorcery,
then maybe I can get them to test something that we regard as slightly
more mature. If I can't then we're no /worse/ off than we were before,
of course Im always open to other suggestions if you happen to have any.

I dont really mind doing branch pushing/pulling, its fairly straight
forward and I dont envision doing a whole lot of it except for around
release time, which of course isn't going to be anything hard and fast,
more on the lines of "when its ready". Having interim branches also allows
us to fully seperate new development work from stable release fixing
which will allow us to hopefully avoid the nightmarish consequences of
trying to manually integrate relavent code from devel.

In the future having a branch/release wizard wouldn't be such a bad idea,
but I think I got it for now. We're small and unscheduled enough that
we'll be all right.
