I noticed lately I no longer need to pkill kdm if I switch back to a console,
either they fixed tha bug in the last release or something in our systems
changed.
Thanks for replying back, it's nice to know a suggestion worked.
I live in Sydney, not in the city itself but in a suburb on the harbour's
edge, in the innerwest called Drummoyne, its about 10 minutes by car from the
Town Hall. I'ts a lovely sunny day here today, 24 degrees celsius and a
slight breeze.
Hope smgl tinkering suits your retirement :) and I/we eagerly await you
application for maintainer of $section ;) (I know I am a cheeky brat).
