How progresses this work?

I didn't see any replies to your question about mtu.
As far as I am aware the value needs to be between 0 and 1500 inclusive
(although 0
won't get you very far).

I have noticed that the latest version of network.sh seems to only call ifup
for a static
connection. How will your new variables be called into play?
