The biggest problem with doing this is the number of variables...
processor speed, RAM free, swap, HD speed, ccache, distcc,
optimisations, and configure options. I won't say it's impossible, it
may be quite possible to get a decent estimation based on bogomips and
other sys info with enough compile examples. For any reasonable
estimation though, my /guess/ is it would take a lot of data.
