I don't use anything other than gaze search because spells aren't
logically able to be placed in coherent heirarchical structures. If we
had some sort of symlinking setup that emulated a graph, I'd use the
filesystem a lot more, but as we are now, the filesystem isn't feasable.
I would like the --name --short, etc switches, too, defaulting to current
behavior (search all) with no switches.
Right now we put the spells in the "best match" category, but something
that's a lib for graphics may actually be in graphics and not libs if lots
of graphics apps use it... as a user I wouldn't want to have to think
about what the lib is used for as well as what sections match those
purposes. The sections are then more logically there for the practical
purpose of dividing up guruships, and not for a categorical tree searching
(which wouldn't be feasable, again, without being able to see a graphics
lib in both graphics and libs (original in graphics, symlinked from
libs)).
