- Subject: [SM-Discuss] mount.sh
- Date: Sat, 23 Nov 2002 14:06:44 +0100
last night when I closed down my system, after trying to rebuild kde and
xfree86, mount.sh started looping on
out of memory; kill process xxx
I suspect it was because there was still a mount point /usr/src/xc, with a
lot
of data.
In the past, my mount script unmounted all the tmpfs entries before doing
anything else. I'm not sure what it does now.
Eventually I pressed the restart button. Ext3 journalling saved me.
