I'm actually not aware of a practice of asking Arwed before adding spells
to the main grimoire... gurus do it all the time. We don't really refuse
any working, compliant spells we don't already have, either. Eric, what
were you getting at?

It should stay in games as long as it's WIP. Normally when we move spells
we just move the already-working version and we do it in all grimoires it
applies to (ie up through stable), but since you're doing changes to this
one it can't go to stable yet and therefore needs to stay where people can
get it.

It depends on the section maintainer, if there is one. Some don't care
what you do in their section as long as you don't make a mess, some prefer
to manage the spells in their section directly. If you don't know what
they prefer it's considered courtesy to file a bug with the new spell / fix
/ etc. and offer to take care of it if they don't mind. If you don't hear
anything from them after two weeks, it's fair game to do what you want with
it. Any any unmaintained section is fair game as well.

Like I said if not for the WIP this could have just gone straight through
to stable normally, that makes it a bit different.
