Bob,
Sadly, Adam Purple, who was the most amazing urban farmer, a very smart and
well informed human, died recently. His Garden of Eden was amazing.
Anandi Premliall is in NY, and she does some interesting things on rooftop
gardening. We had the pleasure of having her here during our last PDC.
I have cc'd her on this, both to let her know this list serve exists, and
she is in touch with other permaculturists in the city.
Enjoy. Get a slice at the "Original Ray's pizza" ( a joke as there are 30
places calling themselves Ray or the Original Ray's pizza in Manhattan).
Best wishes,
Christopher
