The Food Movement is about eliminating unnecessary intermediaries - ALL
of them.

In that sense, Local Food, Farmers Markets, CSAs, Know Your Farmer,
Production / Consumer Coop Alliances and Grow your Own with Local On the
Farm Biological Inputs are all part of the same wave that is sweeping
the nation and the world.

MY main source of sustenance comes from deep barrancas (ravines) where
Vertical Agriculture (large, natural, ungrafted fruit trees) predominates.

They feed me and I support them.

On the other hand, the Organic Movement was BETRAYED by those that
pretended to strengthen it and at this point may well be beyond repair:
Unsustainable in it's present form!

Major changes are coming and will happen sooner if farmers band together
and stand up for their right to define for themselves what they are
offering.

What that means in practice: Given the lock put on the word ORGANIC by
OFPA and the detouring of it's original meaning by the Organic Insider
Elite, eliminating unnecessary intermediaries (call it "Socially and
Environmentally Responsible Agriculture - SERA) is the way to go and
Looking for a Better Way is what this forum should be about!
