The Japanese have known how to live for thousands of years....this gallery
is simply amazing and inspirational.

Why not include techniques such as those above, developed in Japan over the
centuries, in PDC's for a well rounded curriculum.

also...growing bean and seed sprouts is also a form of hydroponics and is
most certainly in the realm of permaculture
as would be growing celery sprouts from the root crown immersed in water.
Similar food plant production in simplified aquaponics systems
would also be. How about a windmill or modified bicycle driving a water
lifting waterwheel to move liquid and slurry from a fish tank to plant
growing beds
filtering/remediating/purifying the water and returning it to the tank.
There are hundreds of variants and possibilities, all natural and all
permaculture.
