A Breitbart.com reiteration of a GOP Senate candidate's press release may
not be the most reliable source.

According to Marylandreporter.com A) The tax is on how much *pavement* (not
rainfall) is on your property, and B) it's up to local governments to
decide how much that tax will be, which could theoretically be nothing.

http://marylandreporter.com/2012/04/10/general-assembly-approves-stormwater-
fee-for-nine-counties/

"Local governments would charge property owners a fee based on the amount of
pavement on their property. It would be at the jurisdiction of the local
governments to determine the size of those fees."

The actual bill says: " (II) A COUNTY OR MUNICIPALITY MAY SET A STORMWATER
REMEDIATION FEE UNDER THIS PARAGRAPH BASED ON: 1. A FLAT RATE; 2. AN AMOUNT
THAT IS GRADUATED, BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF IMPERVIOUS SURFACE ON EACH
PROPERTY; OR 3. ANOTHER METHOD OF CALCULATION SELECTED BY THE COUNTY OR
MUNICIPALITY."

Please, before forwarding what is obvious right-wing pandering, please check
at least one other source.
