(B) We - here in NC - have an agreement with Mr. Mark Taper, who
will be sending any and all of Alan Chadwick materials to us. These
materials and audio tapes were collected/made in the 1970s - by Mr.
Bernard Taper - who was going to write a book, and a New Yorker
Magazine article, on Alan Chadwick. So far: We have received, and
have digitized, 23 audio tapes of Bernard interviewing Alan. A
treasure trove.......with much more material on the way in the future.

(C) Paul Lee lent to us - here in NC - letters from Alan, and photos
from Alan's time at Santa Cruz.

(D) Dennis Tamura & Lori Perry sent us a generous contribution,
helping to defray the cost of software used in transcribing digitized
MP3s of Alan's audiotaped lectures.

(E) Many friends & apprentices have recently stepped forward,
sending us tapes of Alan's lectures, their own lecture notes, photos,
and other archival materials. We deeply appreciate all who have
entrusted us with this valuable material. To all who have contributed
materials: please be patient with us. There are line items in the
budget - and we are now fundraising - for copying all forms of AC
materials, and it is our intent to return all original AC materials
to their owners as soon as we can.

We have made a few unique agreements with people ( and have received
written permission in some cases) who have sent us AC Archival
materials. */Again: It is our intent to return all original materials
to the owners, according to their wishes./*

(F) Beyond his public lectures, and lectures to apprentices, Alan
gave out many keys and techniques, in the moment, in the gardens he
worked in, to many apprentices individually, at different times &
places. (E.G., I used to carry a little pocket notebook with me in
the garden, while @ Alan's demonstrations, & in case he came up and
spoke to me; and I took notes after seeing him at night for
conversations). If you kept any key information of this nature, we
would deeply appreciate you sharing it with us.

(G) If anyone has current contact information for the following
people, we would appreciate you sending it on to us:
1) Warren Pearce
2) The Cunnan brothers ( carpenter/ Covelo)
4) Alice Warrick
5) Peter Risley
6) John Fiske
7) John Wade Powell (first person to work with Alan on the hillside
in Santa Cruz Garden).

THE TIME IS NOW TO SEND US MATERIALS.
*/Thank you......./*
