Bob Jones University grows beef.
There are several permaculture - university garden to cafeteria programs
popping up.
Amherst, MA, Hampshire College, Merritt College, CA is an established one.
Don't think they are on the bio-dynamic or rotational grazing level, yet.
Dave Jacke was working on a food forest with one.
And it seems that permaculture courses are not that hard to get in place at
university any more.
I garden in public in an urban setting. Food forest or perennial food
gardens are still under-recognized.
Permaculture can be an off-putting word because people are afraid of what
they don't know.
Ecological design system is accepted more readily.
This expands the conversation from plants to include water and soil
management.
Animals are harder to get people to accept in public spaces.
Plus they require everyday care.
Everyone adores the raspberries though.
I agree that universities can adapt, with ease.
The work force and desire for an improved world are already present.
