About that...corporate exploitation of people's public natural resou7rces (read: water wells) see the excellent movie FLOW, For The Love Of Water. Vandana Shiva has a significant presence in that documentary.
See it, it will be worth your time and expense - you can view it online through Netflix.
The situation with gas well drilling and fracking isn't far removed from
corporate harvesting of public water resources.
