Hello folks,
In 2010, ~ 93% of the soybeans produced in the US were GMO and certified organic soybean acres constituted ~ 0.2% of soybean acres.
Based on these #s, it is clear that most of the ~250 million bushels of non-GMO soybeans produced in the US in 2010 were produced by conventional farmers seeking non-GMO premiums or independence from dominant seed companies.
